    Hi,
This is cool but this application works with the server locally on my machine. How can I setup Flex to connect to MySQL on Yahoo or GoDaddy server?

Currently my HTML & PHP page works great and are connect to MySQL database, so I know my hostname, userid, password, database, etc. are correct. I tried to change the php file that Flex generated automatically with the data that GoDaddy is expecting, but Flex wizard would not allow me to proceed. Please help. Thanks.

Hi I am having the same problem as Manish. All my connections validate but when I run the project I get an “Error #1088″ I am also running OS X.
    Can anyone help?

  4. Hey, thanks. That demo really helped bring the power of flex generation out in the open (im still using a trial version). I see a lot of nice work being generated with this without an overload of heavy lifting.

    help me please

  6. OK,for ppl who get connection error 1088.After pointless, intense 10-day googling and struggling with this error I have come to this so obvious realization:You get this error when you double click the application’s swf or html container right?,but the application can’t access the database this way. You’ve got to run the application with the browser,(swf or html wrapper).Type in the URL in the browser’s address bar,and everything will be OK.
