1. sarah palin
2. beijing 2008

Inside U.S. we have also sarah palin, obama, facebook and twilight getting many hits.
Outside U.S. the terms winner’s are shared between: games, youtube, facebook, obama and many more.
“financial crisis” also has many searches but also terms has “who is obama” and “who is mccain” – Who cares?!

Google Tube
Today I tried to visit youtube.com which I found to be down. One hour later when opening YouTube I was presented with a banner to join my Google account with YouTube, cool! You can now login with your Google account.
I believe that Google should merge their Google Video with YouTube, it just doesn’t make sense to offer the same service (or similar) in two different places. Please Google merge all videos in one place.
Another feature YouTube could change is the 10 minutes limit for videos. We should be able to upload video files bigger than that. Please think about that.

Google reading Flash text
There’s some buzz about Google being able to read Flash text. It seems that Google is using Adobe Systems’ Search Engine SDK technology.
This is great news, Flash and SEO were like two “enemies†but I believe that finally great days are coming for Flash and Developers.
I’ll leave here the link to an article where you will get more info about this.
SearchMash now with Flex
Today I had a good surprise, it seems guys at Google decided to re-create SearchMash using Flex. Their interface will allow you to see small thumbnails of your search with Snap, consult related images, videos and maps.
Google: Buy Adobe for Video!

Use Flash, But Don’t Offend Google
As much as site publishers want to present the best possible presence to their visitors, they equally want to stay in the good graces of search engine spiders, and Google’s in particular. It presents a challenge to webmasters: how to use Flash while showing the Googlebot what it needs to see?
Google Gadgets open for all web pages
“With almost no effort and at no cost, webpage owners can add complex, dynamically updating content to their own websites using Google Gadgets. Because there is such an enormous variety of Google Gadgets to choose from, webmasters also have a great deal of freedom to select only the gadgets that will best complement their own page. There are games, news clips, weather reports, maps, and more.”
