Macromedia acquire by Adobe 2+ years after - Poll

On April 18, 2005 Adobe announced the acquire of Macromedia. Something like $3.4 billion were involved on this business.

At that time Macromedia community had entered in panic, probably it would be the end of some Macromedia products, the buss was all around Flash. Could Adobe just deprecate Flash, Dremweaver etc etc?

Now 2+ years later do you feel that after all, the acquire was good for Macromedia, Flash and all the community from both sides?
