It’s know that iPad’s won’t be able to run Flash content, again, as on iPhone, Apple decided to leave Flash away from their products.

Of course Apple should have their reasons, but I believe that the user experience will be in cause without Flash. Honestly I can’t see great use on iPad, why do you need it, if you can’t enjoy it. I’m talking about videos, games and much more Flash experiences that would make iPad a truly interesting product.

Not sure, but I believe this will be the worst product ever made by Apple, it’s heavy, large, and totally not practical to take with you. If it is to stay at home I believe everyone will prefer their laptops…

All this because of a post at Gizmodo that is generating another war on the comments about Flash usability, size, security etc etc. Take a look and share your two cents!

FITC Presents FITC Amsterdam 2010
Design. Technology. Cool Shit.
February 22 – 23, 2010 at The Felix Meritis and The Dylan Hotel

Early Bird Rate Ends December 20, 2009

Toronto, Canada [November 12, 2009] –FITC returns to Amsterdam, NL, for the third edition of FITC Amsterdam, a bustling two day event that brings together the best and the brightest from the world of Interactive design and development to learn, share and be inspired. The last two previous events, in 2008 and 2009, sold out over a month in advance. This year’s event takes place February 22nd and 23rd and has expanded to a second venue, The Dylan Hotel.

From sound design to stop motion and apps to apparat, FITC Amsterdam cuts across a number of disciplines to deliver new ideas, new methods and new technologies impacting advertising, animation, design, entertainment, motion graphics and rich media. The event includes over 40 presentations covering business, creative, and technical subjects, an optional one-day workshop, and lots of opportunity for face-to-face networking and interaction.

“We’re excited to be back in Amsterdam with an expanded program and international line-up of speakers,” says Shawn Pucknell, FITC’s founder.

Highlighting this year’s speaker roster is:
MK12 — Kansas City-based design and filmmaking collective responsible for the graphic design and animation of feature films such as Stranger Than Fiction and Quantum of Solace.
Hoss Gifford — Award-winning creative technologist and director at brand consultancy shop Marque (NYC, London, Glasgow)
Robert Lindström (North Kingdom) — Interactive agency that works with some of the world’s leading brands (Absolut, BBC, BRIO, Toyota, Vodaphone) and ad agencies (Dentsu, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, and Wieden & Kennedy,)
Scott Hansen (ISO50/Tycho) — San Francisco-based artist whose work in both design and music overlap to form a vivid artistic vision that reaches into print, Web and branding work.
The killer creative for FITC Amsterdam 2010 was designed by Interactive art directors, Geoff Lillemon and Anita Fontaine of Champagne Valentine. The duo will be presenting highlights from their client portfolio during the event (date and time TBA).

FITC Amsterdam is open to FLASH designers and developers, motion graphic artists, digital artists, and anyone having an interest in Flash and digital media. Tickets to FITC Amsterdam can be purchased from the FITC Website.
